Our Story
Our journey began with a course on healthier desserts in 2020 (with Chef Amy Levin), where a module on crafting chocolate from scratch shifted our understanding about chocolate. We discovered that chocolate does not require long list of ingredients or excessive amount of sugar and its most important ingredient is actually high quality cacao. It produces flavour that was deeper and more nuanced than anything we have experienced before.
That initial curiosity led us further into conversations with chocolate makers, chocolatiers, and farmers. We learned about the realities behind conventional cocoa production—the challenges many growers face, and the systems that often prioritise volume over value.
Those insights shaped our purpose. Today, we focus on creating chocolate from ethically sourced cacao, honoring the craft and the hands that make it possible.
